Biden-Harris and Zelensky Under Investigation

The committee is investigating the Biden-Harris Administration’s alleged use of taxpayer funds to transport Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Pennsylvania, as reported by Fox News on Wednesday.

In a press release, Chairman James Comer (R-KY) stated that he is seeking documents from the White House, Department of Defense, and Department of Justice regarding the alleged misuse of government resources that enabled Zelensky’s involvement in the 2024 presidential election.

The release pointed out that in 2019, the Democrat-controlled House impeached President Donald Trump for allegedly attempting to leverage Zelensky for political gain, despite a lack of evidence against Trump. Recently, the Biden-Harris Administration facilitated a taxpayer-funded flight for Zelensky to Pennsylvania, a crucial state for Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign. Comer noted the committee aims to investigate whether this action constituted an abuse of power.

Zelensky’s visit included a meeting with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and followed an interview where he criticized the Trump-Vance campaign. Trump has vowed to end the war in Ukraine if elected, emphasizing the urgent need for resolution to prevent further loss of life and destruction.

Additionally, Vice President Harris has pledged another $1.5 billion in aid to Ukraine, with the U.S. having provided over $3.2 billion in humanitarian assistance since the Russian invasion in 2022. Recent polls indicate a tie between Trump and Harris in Pennsylvania, with Trump leading in Georgia.
